This is devolux.nh2.me, WordPress and web design resource. I'm glad to announce that the development of my third official WordPress theme is advancing. Have a look at my Development Area.
I was wondering if there is a way to have the site load with the posts already condensed rather than being open? Seems to make more sense that way in the execution i am working on…
Hello, my name is Tabitha and I’m new to word press theme modification. Please excuse my questions if they sound “silly”. Can I use the div “slideshow” to display thumbnails on the main landing page? If so how do I do it and where do the pics go.
I just started using your theme. I really love the variable font sizes, option to hide the sidebar, and showing full posts when viewing a category.
I don’t care for how the date is displayed. Maybe putting it in a slightly greyed out box would let it stand out. Also I’m not sold on the sliding box at the top. Maybe if it could show as much text from the post as would fit in the box I would like it more.
Overall it is a great theme! Keep up the good work!
At least part of the problem may be mine. I commented-out Comments because I didn’t want them. When I changed my mind and un-commented them they don’t work right.
Awesome theme! I’ve been trying to put my tag cloud elsewhere though, and I noticed that somehow the WP tag cloud widget is always displayed as a list no matter where I put it? I guess there’s always leaving the default one at the bottom center, but I’m just wondering if this is an actual bug?
Thank you for creating this theme; I really love it! I am using a static page as my main page and I was wondering if it was possible to move the content slider from the top of the blog to my front page. I would greatly appreciate any help.
Thanks again and keep up the great work!

I’ll have to have a look at the way this is done before I can answer your question. That will take some time, surely. And I really can’t promise you anything concerning this. Yet, if you don’t have anyone who’s able to do this you can still translate it manually (that wouldn’t be very neat, of course).
Could you post a link to your community’s site?
By the way, I don’t know if it’s a bug, but changing “line-height” from 2.0 to 1.5 in Sans-serif style scheme has an effect on blog appearance. Alas, Serif style scheme, which I like more, does not change…
Hi there, nice theme, really good looking. I was wondering, how to simplify the tag cloud. It looks a bit HUGE in the blog. How could I change the font to a smaller one. Or maybe just this “jQuery Font Resizer” could help me?..

Wonderful theme, thanks for putting it together.
I was wondering if there is a way to have the site load with the posts already condensed rather than being open? Seems to make more sense that way in the execution i am working on…
Thanks.

Add these lines to the theme.js file:
$(”.view-excerpt”).click(function (event) {
event.preventDefault();
$(this).parents(”.headline”).next(”.excerpt”).hide();
});

I love your theme. And it drives me nuts.
At least part of the problem may be mine. I commented-out Comments because I didn’t want them. When I changed my mind and un-commented them they don’t work right.
Take a look. http://lyingdognews.net/?p=1679
There’s one comment … but no link or box for more comments. Why?
And when you click on “1 comment” at the top it goes nowhere. Why?
Above each post it says “Posted by [etc.] …” twice. Why?
The date sticks out to the left in FF — and looks good — but in IE it doesn’t and looks not-so-good. Why?
Thanks.

Looks like you’ve crashed something in the theme code. No plan what that could be since you have done loads of alterations!

Rather some missing styling. I’ll see what I can do about this.

Copy line 1-31 of index.php to your page.php file. That should work.

Hello!
I like your theme JQ. We are grateful to you and want to translate it into belarussian and russian languages, but this theme is not international.
Well, is it possible to make international fix in new version of theme ? It’s very important for our WP-community. Please answer this message.
Thanks!
Regards, Marcis G.

Surely it has an effect on the appearance. Also you have to notice that each layout (Serif, Sans and Dark) has its own style sheet….
